The foothills with their quiet back-roads and bridleways are ideal for cycling and riding. Within a short car journey you can be on the magnificent Heritage coastline of North Northumberland with it's spectacular scenery of Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island, Lindisfarne, Seahouses and the famous Farne Islands.
